Camps and extended excursions are held for a variety of reasons, at a range of year levels, as part of the school curriculum or offered as an extra curricular activity.

Year 7 Camp: This camp is held annually, usually early in first term, to enable all Year 7 students to meet and participate in activities to assist them with the settling in process, as part of transition to secondary school.

Language and Cultural Immersion Trip to Malaysia: This extra-curricular trip was offered in 2012 to students in Year 9 studying Indonesian. In 2013, a group of Year 9 and 10 LOTE students travelled to both Malaysia and Indonesia. At the end of Term Two in 2015 another group of students travelled to Malaysia and Indonesia.

Year 9 Experiential trek and camp along the Beechy Line: The inaugural trek, a 45-km walk over a 2-day period, was held in 2012 and has now become an Annual Event. This ‘experiential' activity is designed to foster relationships with the natural world as well as to encourage senses of self-discovery, adventure and triumph.

Year 9 Discovery Learning Camp Melbourne: This camp includes the experience of travelling on public transport in the city and an overnight stay in chosen locations. Various activities include visits in small groups to Victoria University, Master Builders Association, NMIT, Asylum Seekers Resource Centre, Emerald Hill Mission, Mission House, The Big Issue, Bailly House, St Vincent De Paul, Lighthouse Foundation, St Kilda Gatehouse, Salvation Army, Foodbank Victoria, Melbourne Football Club, Victorian Institute of Sport, ACMI, La Trobe University, William Angliss Institute, Suzanne Johnson Training Centre, Whitehouse Fashion College, Queen Victoria Market and University of Melbourne.

Year 10 Camp: This camp is held annually late in first term. This camp challenges all Year 10 students to step up to new challenges of rock climbing, abseiling and surfing as well as participating in team building and initiative games.

Top End Tour from Colac to Darwin: This trip is held every year for a group of Yr 10 students at the end of Term 3. The tour takes in Yalara, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Katherine, Kakadu and Darwin. Along the route, students bushwalk in and around some of Australia's most stunning national parks and icons, including Uluru, KataTjuta, Kakadu and Litchfield. Special memories are made as students develop an understanding of the indigenous culture when they visit the Ali Curung community.

Ski Trip to Mt Hotham: Held every year for a group of Yr 11 students at the end of Term 3, students experience the wonder of snow as they ski and snowboard around in the fresh mountain air for five days.

Retreats Year 11 and Year 12: These senior retreats are held over two days every year and are designed to provide a time for reflection and faith development for each individual student as well as to provide many opportunities to enhance the relationship of each year level as a group.

VCAL Camp: Held annually for Year 11 and 12 VCAL students, these students are provided with opportunities to pursue practical, hands-on activities that improve their work-related skills.

Production Camp: The cast and support team of the bi-annual College Production are accorded three days at a retreat where they can hone their performing skills in preparation for the major College production.

Timor Immersion Tour: In 2015 the inaugural ten day tour to Timor Leste took place with eight students and two staff.
