Dear parents and carers,

I hope you, your family and friends are well and coping with the restrictions we all need to follow at the moment.

Hopefully these strict measures help flatten the curve, take pressure off our hospital system, save lives and return us to our normal lives as soon as possible.

There is no telling the timing of this at the moment and the only targets we have in place are returning to work on April 14 and commencing teaching on April 15. This is highly likely to be in the form of remote learning. Our students will be using Teams and One Note to connect with their teachers and keep up to date with their classes.

Our staff are well prepared to guide students through remote learning and we are already seeing some terrific examples of that with some holiday classes for senior students being run remotely and each department preparing work to be delivered online to all year levels.

Our Wellbeing Team is guiding parents and carers to the Reachout website for helpful information at this time on how to discuss the current epidemic and relate with teenagers.

I hope this proves helpful to you.

We will update you as soon as we hear of any major developments in relation to the new school term, but please stay safe and stay home as much as possible. Please visit our website for updates and resources: www.tcc.vic.edu.au

Kind Regards

Paul Clohesy, Principal
