Dear Parents and Carers
Yesterday the Victorian State Government announced a range of restrictions in response to positive COVID tests in Melbourne. At this time, the impact on Trinity College Colac is minimal; however, we will need to continue to be mindful that, with community circulation of COVID, it is possible that things may change rapidly.
Please note the following:
- Students must carry a mask with them at all times and must wear it while travelling on buses.
- Any student or member of staff who has been at one of the exposure sites must remain at home isolating pending either a negative test or 14 days isolation.
- Any student with symptoms should be tested and remain at home pending a negative result. If a member of their household is symptomatic and awaiting results a student may attend school as normal.
- In the event of a positive test in the school community, the College will be closed. Every student must take their device home with them each night to be prepared for remote learning.
The College will continue with hand hygiene measures, enhanced cleaning measures and encouraging and mandating social distancing where possible. We will update families should there be any change to the current situation.
