Social Responsibility
Trinity College places great importance on the promotion of social justice. A number of activities and fund-raising events are held so as to encourage social responsibility and to raise awareness of injustice and suffering. Students have the opportunity to be involved in a social justice group which meets on a regular basis and responds to needs in the local and global community.
Some of the activities organised by the Social Justice committee that involve the school community are:
- ‘Project Compassion’ – Coin lines, raffles and activities to raise funds for Caritas
- Year 9 Melbourne Experience Camp – Students visit Social Justice Placements
- Founders’ Day Walkathon – to raise awareness and funds for various charities
- Vinnies Winter and Christmas Appeals
