Dear parents and carers,
As you may be aware, State Premier Daniel Andrews announced some relaxing of restrictions today but has not outlined his plans for a return to school just yet. He suggested this would be announced this week.
If media reports in recent days are correct, this may be a staged return to school and students in Years 11 and 12 could return in the next couple of weeks. Beyond that, other year levels may be re-introduced in a staggered fashion. It is still possible that some year levels will not return to the classroom this term.
We need to see that in more detail to respond appropriately, but right now we are preparing for a variety of possibilities.
The greatest challenge in all of this is the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff and this will be our priority.
In the meantime we will continue to provide Remote Learning and respond to the needs of our students and families.
Please contact teachers, Year Level Coordinators, wellbeing, IT or the office and we will assist you in any way we can.
Thank you for everything you are doing to support your student through this period of learning from home.
We will update you on the steps towards a return to the classrooms as soon as we have clear direction from the State Government and Catholic Education Office.
Kind Regards
Paul Clohesy, Principal
