Our Ethos

At Trinity College Colac we are inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and Gospel Values are at the heart of everything we do. Our founders, Sister Catherine McAuley and Blessed Edmund Rice, who were called by God to devote their lives to others, are our models of faith, service and compassion for humanity.

We are honoured to embark on a shared journey with the families of our College as their children develop into adults who are committed to being the best they can be and reflect the values of their Catholic education. We commit to providing a safe and inclusive environment for every member of our community and appreciate the support of our College families in upholding the standards of student behaviour that contribute to our culture of high expectations.

Together we can provide our young people with character, skills and knowledge so they can enjoy successful, joyful and loving lives and make a difference in the world.

As a child safe school, in line with Ministerial Order 1359, Trinity College Colac is committed to the implementation and ongoing maintenance of child safe standards.

Commitment to Child Safety

All students and children who are on our Trinity campus or involved in any of our College activities have a right to feel safe and be safe. The wellbeing of the children in our care will always be our first priority and we do not tolerate child abuse. We aim to create a safe and child friendly environment where children are free to enjoy life to the full without any concern for their safety.

Commitment to Cultural Safety

At Trinity College, we strive to create a culturally safe environment for all of our community. We recognise that everyone has unique cultural backgrounds and experiences that should be respected and celebrated. We are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels valued, heard and supported.
