Year 9 Experience Camp
The Year 9 Experience Camp is unique within Trinity’s offerings, providing an “urban meets coastal” program that exposes students to environments and opportunities they may not encounter in their everyday lives, such as navigating a major city and engaging with diverse communities. The camp also places strong emphasis on developing key modern learning skills, including teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Year 10 Camp
Set in an inspiring outdoor environment, the camp allows students to immerse themselves in new experiences, push beyond their comfort zones, and strengthen their bonds with peers.
Retreats Year 11 and Year 12
These senior retreats are held over three days every year and are designed to provide a time for reflection and faith development for each individual student as well as to provide many opportunities to enhance the relationship of each year level as a group.
Top End Tour
This trip is held every year for a group of Yr 10 students. The tour takes in Yalara, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Katherine, Kakadu and Darwin. Along the route, students bushwalk in and around some of Australia’s most stunning national parks and icons, including Uluru, KataTjuta, Kakadu and Litchfield. Special memories are made as students develop an understanding of the indigenous culture when they visit the Ali Curung community.
Ski Trip to Mount Hotham
The annual Year 11 Ski Trip to Mount Hotham offers students a five-day adventure where they experience the excitement of skiing and snowboarding while enjoying the fresh mountain air and stunning alpine environment.
Palm Island Cultural Experience
The Palm Island Cultural Experience immerses Year 11 students in local community life through volunteering at the school, meeting residents, and engaging with their stories. It provides meaningful insight into both contemporary life and the rich cultural and historical heritage of Palm Island, fostering empathy and understanding.
Tanzania Immersion Tour
At the completion of their studies in Year 12 in 2017 a small group of students and three staff travelled to Tanzania for an immersion program. The two and a half week experience provided the students with the chance to visit Tanzania and be immersed in the culture of this fascinating country. Based in the northern city of Arusha, participants spent time at two schools: Edmund Rice Sinon Secondary, where they saw first-hand the inspiring work done by the Christian Brothers, and the School of St Jude, where they witnessed how education is transforming the lives of over 1,800 children and their families.
Tanzanian Trip Highlights:
