Student Representative Council
The Student Council facilitates communication between students of the College and empowers them to contribute and develop the culture of the College in line with the founding Catholic ethos. It is therefore hoped that the ongoing work of the SRC creates an environment in which all College students feel that they can contribute to their College and express themselves as contemporary members of a Catholic Community.
The Council raises its own agendas and also deals with matters referred to it by members of the College Administration and by individual students.
The SRC consists of: the College captains, the college vice captains, the prefects, the house captains and student leaders from each year level. It is run by the College captains and the Director of Students and maintains contact with the Principal through regular meetings.
The SRC plan and implement school activities, with particular attention to those activities which reflect the College’s theme for the year. The SRC members use their profile as leaders to run College Assemblies and support the work of the Social Justice Team, Liturgies, Homeroom and House Carnivals.
