Our role is to Make a Difference
Welcome to Trinity College Colac, a Catholic co-educational college for Year 7 – 12 students. Our vision is that ‘Inspired by Jesus – We Make a Difference’.
We have elaborated on ‘how’ we do that this year through ‘The Trinity Difference’ where we encourage effort as a priority and clearly outline how we focus on the Character, Knowledge and Skills of our students.
We remain indebted to our founders, the Christian Brothers and Mercy Sisters and St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, whose dedication and acts of service have ensured the vibrant educative community that we experience today. Together with our Catholic ethos and the charism of its founders, Edmund Rice (Christian Brothers) and Catherine McAuley (Mercy Sisters), Trinity College, as a Christ-centred community, espouses the Gospel values of faith, hope and love.
Approximately 770 students from Years 7 to 12 have enrolled at Trinity College for the academic school year. Learning for these students is facilitated in modern, well-resourced facilities, utilising a curriculum that caters to students’ individual needs and interests.
A body of committed, caring and qualified staff, working in a friendly and supportive environment, makes Trinity College an attractive option for post-primary schooling. At Trinity College, we aim to work with the students and parents of our community to ensure that each student is supported to be and do their best.
Trinity College offers students many extra-curricular opportunities such as music, bands, performing arts, chess, robotics, debating and public speaking, retreats, local, interstate and overseas excursions and camps, social gatherings and a comprehensive sports program.
As a Catholic College, our community is ever mindful that God is central to our being and to our actions. We endeavour, through practical action, to be true to our Core Values and to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
I trust that you will find this website useful as you endeavour to learn more about our College.
